Cedar Escape is located 28 kilometers from Citrusdal and invites you to experience peace and tranquillity, with beautiful scenery and a river that flows through the farm. Guests will travel for 7 kilometers along a gravel road, though it is not necessary for a 4 x 4.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in the lovely stilted Tree Tops cabins, which are surrounded by orange orchards. Each cabin comprises a double bed and can accommodate 2 guests. Guests have access to shared, clean ablution facilities with hot water, a fully-equipped communal kitchen and dining area, and a communal braai area that is set on the banks of the Olifantsrivier. Guests are welcome to swim in the river.

There is abundant opportunity for mountain climbing, bird watching, walking, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and swimming in clear river pools. For the more adventurous, there is the Cederberg range with interesting scenery, 4×4 routes, skiing on the nearby Clanwilliam dam and longer hiking routes in close proximity.
